This home was a complete remodel, including removal of an indoor swimming pool to make room for a new primary suite. The existing kitchen was completely enclosed, blocking the lake view from the rest of the main floor. We blew out all the walls and opened the entire living and dining spaces to focus towards the view. The clients wanted a way to bring the beautiful water colors into the space with a completely custom, unique feature in the kitchen. The solution? The Designer's collection of Leland Blues and Petoskey stones were specially photographed and mounted to tempered glass as an insert on the island, lighted from below, creating a spectacular custom feature. A gorgeous cobalt Blue Star range completes the look.
